Sustainability as a leading example
"The first circular learning landscape primary school is a fact!"
says Clarice van den Berg, Circular Accelerator @Furnify
This primary school requested a learning landscape: a base for the ‘personalised learning’ method this school applies. The environment should be open and transparent for the children, teachers and parents.
We created a place to play, learn and discover centred around people. The open and flexible spaces make the most of the daylight and can be reconfigured for different types of learning. We created a unique sustainable landscape that sets an example for kids, parents and the school community.
As with every non-profit organisation, small budgets and managing stakeholders are part of the challenge. The school, therefore, selected a specific group of partners with the same motivation to develop an environment that would last several generations. Together, we collaborated on a sustainable and future-proof result.
