In 2015, OVG Real Estate moved into the upper floor the “most sustainable office building in the world” (according to the Building Research Establishment). The Edge, located in Amsterdam, also has the highest BREEAM classification ever – an outstanding 98.36%. Naturally, OVG required a striking sustainable interior to match.

We used existing materials and furniture throughout the space. We selected and refurbished office chairs, designer chairs and a vintage cabinet that got a bright blue new look. As a reference to OVG Real Estate’s roots in Rotterdam, the Furnify team purchased Rotterdam soccer stadium’s seats and placed them in the visitors’ area. Every day since, these seats have sparked office banter between Amsterdam and Rotterdam supporters.
